Better access for walkers between Glyncoch and Darren Ddu Road
We have completed works to create a permissive path linking Glyncoch and the Darren Ddu Road.
The route includes path markers along the length of the path, as well as the installation of kissing gates at either end to help ensure the safety of pedestrian users.
The main elements of the work have been carried out, including the reinstatement of the dry stone wall, with some additional remedial activity planned soon.
We have also carried out a second round of scrub clearance in the southern scrub and woodland area around the stone seat and viewpoint. This was completed in liaison with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (RCTCBC).
